| It was not really my intention to create work which could go outside, I was more interested in how these modern paints could help me create work which was exciting fresh with deep rich colours.
It was just a happy co-incidence that the paint could withstand heavy UV battering and happily to sit outside. These large aluminium panels have been created with the latest UV resistant paints, and change colour which is part of a theme within my work and is what initially attracted me to them. The changing colour properties keeping the interest of the viewer. Most of the work I produce with these paints is for indoor art, but accept that some people may be looking specifically to make an artistic statement within an area of a landscaped garden. |
