The gorilla sculpture represents a complete departure in technique, yet it still draws inspiration from the humble nail. While the nails maintain equidistant spacing, their varying heights and shades of grey collectively form the image. This unique approach works both in 3-D and 2-D formats. The heavily pixelated image appears almost abstract up close, but as you step back, it suddenly snaps into focus. This marks the debut of this technique, with plans to explore other images in the coming year.
Die Gorilla-Skulptur stellt einen vollständigen Bruch in der Technik dar, zieht jedoch immer noch Inspiration aus dem bescheidenen Nagel. Während die Nägel einen gleichmäßigen Abstand halten, formen ihre unterschiedlichen Höhen und Grautöne gemeinsam das Bild. Dieser einzigartige Ansatz funktioniert sowohl in 3-D als auch in 2-D.
